Our single-page website design service on the Squarespace platform offers a streamlined solution to establish a stunning online presence quickly and affordably. Our process begins with a comprehensive Discovery Questionnaire to gather key insights about your brand, audience, and goals. This is followed by a Creative Direction Call, where we discuss your vision, preferences, and desired outcomes to ensure the website reflects your unique identity.

We will curate a detailed list of everything we’ll need from the client to get started on their website design.

The website features a custom header displaying your logo and clickable social media icons, seamlessly integrating your online presence. Logos and brand colors are provided by the client to maintain consistency and authenticity.

Five (5) Distinct Sections
The five sections are customizable and can be tailored to suit the specific needs and goals of your business or website purpose.Header Photo or Video: A striking visual that creates an impactful first impression.
Introduction: A brief, engaging overview of your brand or offering.
Information (Service/Event Details): A section dedicated to outlining your key services or event details in a clear, organized format.

Expand your reach and maintain client engagement with a strategically placed newsletter sign-up block. The footer design ties the page together, offering quick links, legal information, and additional branding elements.

After the initial design, you’ll have the opportunity to review the website and request one round of refinements to perfect the final look and feel.

After finalizing the desktop version and completing any necessary refinements, we will transition to designing the mobile version. This ensures your website looks seamless and functions beautifully across all mobile devices.

Project Timeline & Process

01. DISCOVERY QUESTIONNAIRE & CREATIVE CALL
Begin by completing our comprehensive questionnaire, which helps us understand your brand’s vision, story, website aesthetic, and specific needs. Once we’ve reviewed your responses, we’ll schedule a creative direction call to discuss the project in detail and outline your website’s structure.

02. CONTENT COLLECTION AND REVIEW
Using the website outline created during the discovery phase, you’ll provide the necessary content (e.g., text, photos, branding assets). We’ll review the materials and address any questions before scheduling a start date for the website design process.

03. SQUARESPACE ACCOUNT SETUP
We’ll create a Squarespace account for you (unless you already have one) using the email address you provide.

04. SINGLE-PAGE DESIGN
Our team will begin designing your single-page website. During this process, we may reach out for clarification or to present design concepts for your approval.

05. SQUARESPACE TUTORIAL
Once the initial design is complete, we’ll provide a video tutorial via Loom to guide you on accessing and navigating your new Squarespace account, where you can review the website.

06. REFINEMENTS
You’ll have up to 10 days to compile and submit a list of desired revisions. Upon receiving your feedback, we’ll implement all requested changes within 48 hours.

07. MOBILE OPTIMIZATION
After completing desktop revisions, we’ll ensure your website is fully optimized for mobile devices, delivering a seamless and visually appealing experience across all screen sizes.

08. DOMAIN SETUP & LAUNCH
Once both the desktop and mobile versions are finalized, we’ll assist with domain setup to prepare for launch. Note: Some aspects of domain setup may require your input; please refer to our FAQs for guidance.

After your site is live, you’ll receive an offboarding packet along with tutorial videos outlining how to make edits and updates to your website moving forward.

The process for the Single-Page Site Design is outlined in our project timeline, but the duration depends largely on how quickly we receive your completed client homework, your content, and your feedback on the final website design. With prompt responses, the entire process typically takes about 2-3 weeks.

We understand that life can be hectic, and many of our clients juggle both personal and business responsibilities. While we value flexibility and strive to accommodate your schedule, please note that delays in providing feedback, content, or approvals may impact the project timeline, as our workflow is typically planned weeks in advance for website designs.

Yes, you may place your website project on hold for up to 6–12 months if necessary. However, when you're ready to resume, your project will be subject to our current availability, and we cannot guarantee an immediate start.

While we aim to adhere to the proposed six-week timeline, we build in a two-week buffer to account for unexpected delays. Creative work requires care and attention, and we avoid rushing the process. Rest assured, we’ll keep you informed if any delays arise.

If the project hasn’t started and you’ve paid in full, we can offer a full refund if canceled within 24 hours of signing the agreement. There will be a cancellation fee of $250.00
No refunds for cancellations after 24 hours, only credits will be offered. Credits are valid for 12 months from the cancellation date.
If you paid a deposit we do not offer a refund, as deposits are non-refundable as per our agreement.

Yes, clients are responsible for providing all website content, including text, images, branding assets, and e-commerce information. However, we can assist with content creation for an additional fee, which will vary based on your website’s specific needs.

Yes, we offer assistance with website content creation, copywriting, and sourcing additional stock images for an additional fee.

We strongly recommend updating your headshots if you don’t have recent photos or if your current photos do not align with your branding or aesthetic.

Yes, having all your content ready is essential before we begin designing your website. This ensures a seamless process without unnecessary delays.

We understand that gathering and organizing website content can be a time-consuming process, so we do not impose strict deadlines on clients. Every client’s timeline is unique, and we aim to accommodate varying schedules. However, we cannot set a project start date until all required content is submitted. Once the content is received, we will schedule your project at the earliest available date. Please note that a minimum of 2–3 weeks is needed to begin work after content submission, though this may vary depending on our current workload.

The preferred methods for submitting your content are Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer. Please organize your materials by page or section, ensuring it’s clear where each piece of content belongs. We’ll provide guidance on this during the creative direction call and when we share the website outline.
WEBSITE REVISIONS

Clients are given 10 days after the website's completion to submit their list of requested revisions. If you need additional time to review, we’re happy to pause your project until you’re ready to provide feedback. Once we receive your revisions, we’ll prioritize completing them as soon as possible; however, please note that timelines may vary based on our current workload at that time.

We’re happy to accommodate additional rounds of revisions if needed. If the requested revisions take less than 20 minutes to complete, we’ll offer an extra round at no additional cost. For revisions requiring more than 20 minutes, there will be an additional fee based on the time required to complete the work.

DOMAINS, EMAILS & SETUP

We recommend purchasing your domain through GoDaddy or Squarespace. These platforms are the easiest to work with when connecting your domain to your Squarespace website.

Yes, we assist with connecting your domain to your new Squarespace website. If any issues arise during the connection process, we’ll provide step-by-step instructions for contacting your domain provider to resolve the issue. Please note that, for security reasons, we do not call domain providers or log into your accounts on your behalf.

ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS

The design fee and the Squarespace hosting subscription fee are the only standard costs, as outlined in our agreement. However, if your website development requires custom coding, additional fees may apply. We will always discuss these with you in advance and obtain your approval before proceeding with the work.

Yes, we provide 10 days of complimentary support as part of our full website design and development package. Beyond that, we’re happy to assist with any additional needs. Our support rates range from $75–$150 per hour, depending on the scope of work. Additionally, Squarespace’s award-winning customer support is always available for assistance.

During the offboarding process, we’ll provide a detailed tutorial that includes instructions on how to add new sections and pages to your website. If you prefer that we handle these updates for you, we’re happy to assist.

HOW TO REACH US
Communication & Studio Hours
COMMUNICATION CHANNELS
The best way to reach us is via email at hello@pairedesign.com. Occasionally, we may send longer, detailed messages through text in the form of voice notes, and we’re happy to receive text replies in return. While we do have an Instagram account, messages sent via Instagram may experience delays, as we don’t check DMs daily and sometimes miss notifications. For timely communication, we recommend emailing us directly.
RESPONSE TIME EXPECTATIONS
We strive to respond to emails daily, excluding weekends and holidays. However, due to our work schedule, responses may occasionally take a bit longer. Please allow 24–48 hours for a reply.
STUDIO HOURS
Our studio operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, as we are based in South Florida. While we typically don’t respond to emails or texts outside of these hours, exceptions may be made in urgent situations.
For our West Coast clients, we’re happy to extend our communication hours as needed.
For international clients, we’ll do our best to accommodate time differences and schedule a time that works for both parties.
CALLS AND MEETINGS
We prioritize clear communication throughout the design process and will keep you updated at every step. If you’d like to schedule a call or Zoom meeting, we’re happy to arrange that. While we welcome phone calls, they must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid conflicts with other appointments or work commitments. To schedule a call, please click the button below.
